Why not to comment on someone’s body

Your body is uniquely yours, and that's something to celebrate!  Here are a few reasons why it's important to avoid commenting on others' bodies:

Personal Boundaries: Everyone has their own comfort levels and personal boundaries. Commenting on someone's body can easily cross those lines.

Unseen Struggles: You never know what someone might be going through—health issues, eating disorders, or body dysmorphia. Comments, even well-intentioned ones, can exacerbate these struggles.

Self-Esteem Impact: Positive or negative, comments on appearance can affect self-esteem. Focusing on non-physical attributes helps build a more supportive and inclusive environment.

Promoting Diversity: Celebrating diversity in body shapes and sizes encourages acceptance and self-love for everyone. Let's appreciate people for who they are, not just how they look.

Respecting Autonomy: Everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin without external opinions influencing their self-perception. 

Let's shift the focus from looks to kindness, achievements, and character. Spread positivity, not judgment!
